About Me

      Hello my name is Danyelle Allen and I am in my second year at the University of Kentucky. I am studying psychology with a minor in African American studies and creative writing. I want to go to Law School and become a civil rights attorney because I have a passion for uprooting racial/gender injustices. I also have interests in music, literature, film, and the arts in general which is why I chose to do my website on Miss Dora Dean. While doing this research I was elated in further unpacking Miss Dean’s life, through this I was given a better appreciation and enjoyment of earlier show business.
